We have launched a new monthly SESSION for freely improvised music, inviting exiting openers who will play a short opening set followed by a short talk (Q&A) about their own approach to improvisation and their setup.
After that we will open the jam session for everyone who would be interested to play! Please come early as the sessions will be pre-curated to make sure everyone is able to join and play.
Early soundchecks are also possible depending on the instrument.

OPENER
Roozbeh Nafisi is an artist using improvisation to explore the moment and develop compositions. Collage, mixed media and interdisciplinary are among words describing his craft. his commonly used materials include sounds, words and visions. Roozbeh plays santur and santur nimi (a half-size santur designed by him). He studied composition, santur and musicology in Iran, california, germany, japan, estonia and austria. Also he has been teaching since 1999.
