How can one get a break if the show must go on? What happens
when the boundary between private life and performance becomes increasingly
blurred?
Anna ist eine multidisziplinäre Zirkusartistin und Tänzerin, ausgebildet in zeitgenössischem Zirkus u.a. in Dänemark und Spanien. Sie lebt in Wien und arbeitet derzeit mit Con Via, Circle Circus und Töchter der Kunst zusammen.

Es gibt Orte, an denen wir verweilen und darin etwas Unerwartetes finden.
Ein Raum wird zu einem sicheren Hafen –
nicht durch das, was er ist, sondern durch das, was wir darin finden.
Ein sicherer Hafen ist kein Ort der Freiheit ohne Grenzen.
Es ist ein Abgleich von Körper und Raum.
Ein Moment des Ankommens. Eine Rückkehr.
In diesem Moment verschwindet nicht nur das Fremde,
sondern auch das Vertraute –
und der Raum selbst verändert sich, während wir darin verweilen.

WHERE WE LINGER
There are places where we linger and find something unexpected.
A space becomes a safe harbor -
not by what it is, but by what we find in it.
A safe harbor is not a place of limitless freedom.
It is a reconciliation of body and space.
A moment of arrival. A return.
In this moment, not only the unfamiliar fades, but also the familiar -
and what emerges is a place that shifts as we linger.
Sophie Adelt is an artist, currently living and working in Linz. Her artistic practice is based on sound, dance and fine arts. Recently she finished an intense program in Germany, focused on Dance, Improvisation and Performance.
