Morita Vargas is an experimental music producer and performer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the forefront of a new women's movement from Latin America which evokes curiosity and conscious listening. A trailblazer of a new path of art for a sensitive society, Vargas is known for her ability to fuse surrealism, abstraction and symbolism in her works. Singing in her own improvised language, each performance is completely unique and appeals directly to the senses by creating hypnotic and atmospheric textures to explore themes such as identity, emotional connection, and mystery. Her live experience is in constant collaboration with local Latin American gender minority artists. With both her flamboyant outfits and organic visuals, Vargas creates a fantastical world of futuristic folk.
